When I was little, I always wondered how parents tolerated these giant-ass tree houses everywhere. Never occurred to me it was just imagination.

“Just promise me one thing, that you’ll never grow up, not even if you live to be a hundred and don’t have any memories of our adventures together, you’ll still be a kid at heart.”

- Numbah One, the final episode of Codename Kids Next Door.

That's why when they turn 13 they get "decommissioned". They lose their imagination. Fuck you OP. My childhood is ruined now.

This isn't relevant to the post, but I just want to share my feels I received today.
I am 20 years old and attending college almost entirely on grants and federal aid. I grew up poor and haven't had money for simple things. One of those things includes dentist work. Until now, I have never had the money to see a dentist. As you can assume, my teeth are a wreck. Today, I got a phone call from an orthodontist who heard about me through an anonymous college professor. He has agreed to fully fund dentist work that includes braces, for free. Never have I been so convinced first hand in my life of the goodness in humanity.

We were all members of the Kids Next door, but were decommissioned when we turned 13 so we have no memories. Hence why do not remember all of our childhood.
