It really was. I have newfound respect for DiCaprio after that role. the thing that I find interesting is that Christoph Waltz (Schlutz) could have easily played Leonardo DiCaprio's role (Candy) so easily and vice versa, yet they each did something new to them, which I loved.

Samuel Jackson, while funny and amusing, wasn't all that excellent. He plays the same damn role in every movie more or less, and while he's very good at it that's all he does. Also, his character was just despicable. Candy was evil as ****, but I still loved how devious and awesome he was. Samuel L. Jackson's character I just hated.

Overall though, I loved this movie so much. In other people's opinion, was this better than Inglourious Basterds?

Also the scene where Candie's hand was all bloody and he smeared it on Broomhilda, Dicrapio had slammed his hand on the table onto a glass shard and actually cut it. He kept acting like it was nothing when his hand was clearly bleeding profusely and used it as a prop to instill fear when he smeared it on Washington's face (maybe she wasn't acting at all during that part)
