I am incredibly tired of Seth Mcfarlane`s changes on the characters in Family Guy, Brian is possibly the worst change of them all, every episode Seth finds a way to express his opinions on life, via Brian. Most every episode, Brian debates about some topic and whatever he says, Seth Mcfarlane actually believes, but if he uses the audience of Family Guy, his opinions have a higher chance of being heard. Whether it be religion, racism, Fox news, marijuana, government, it is very infuriating how much he is milking Family Guy. Stewie has gone from the diabolical little baby, hell-bent on killing his parents, and taking over the world, NOW, he is a homosexual with sick fetishes. And almost every episode, there is a long, drawn out scene which features a song from Conway Twitty, a ten minute fight scene between Peter and a chicken, or a long boring musical. I also find it ridiculous that he took one of the characters from Family Guy, and gave him his own entire show, can he not be happy with the two successful shows he already has? That being said, i do find these two shows funny, even though they have mostly the same story, and Haley is another one of the "Opinion characters". I really do hope they stray away from that gay, quirky, stupid humor, that is incredibly overused these days. I appreciate those who read this. inb4 red thumbs

I personally respect seth more for having the balls to keep a political microphone in each of his shows. and half the points arent bad... a lot of them are but....

I also respect him for making hilarious shows and managing to monopolize the adult cartoon genre, seeing as the only person he's even competing with is matt groening.

While I agree with most of this, I also disagree to some part. Well what do you expect? If its making money why would he stop? If something makes money , why would anyone stop? No one ever does. That's why we are still getting more fucking Call of Duties or more Simpsons. Of course he will continue to milk it. I honestly find Stewie's gayness funny. And isn't Brian constantly made fun of because he is pretentious? So Seth is making fun of himself? I do agree that he uses Brian to express his views sometimes but , I repeat again, what else do you expect? Since when do creators not express their views via their work? Though Family guy isn't what it used to be , I still like the show. I love American dad more though. And the Cleveland show sucks, I don't even know why they did a spinoff on one of the most uninteresting characters of the show. A spinoff of Quagmire would had been a lot more interesting.

Oh and I also don't think Haley is an opinion character. She is mostly doing stupid reckless things or just being annoyingly self righteous .

If he kept the chraters the same they would have died out long ago. By reinventing the characters he keeps them fresh and hits new demographics. I do not like the direction the characters are taking either but I understand the logic behind it.
