This seems to happen far to much in gaming and that actually they have started making games toned down for younger audiences despite it being an 15/16-18 rating, its a ******* piss take.
GTA 4 is a good example, ever driven when drunk on it? The police instantly know if you are pissed and Niko has to say **** like "This was a bad idea" because some mothers in America are against it.
I feel that you make 18 games for a REASON if its an 18 don't let children buy it, teenagers not so much as rockstar said with it being a M in america most of the target audience should understand that it is bad anyway.

I think if people complain about **** in GTA, the creators will just add more ****. See this scenario:
>People against game violence - "GTA has gone too far! Next they'll be telling me that you get to smack people on the head with a baseball bat, while flying a plane upside down through the streets!"

Rockstar or whoever is responsible for the awesomeness of GTA will then take this into concideration and make vital changes to their game. Most of these changes will involve the addition of said scenario. Rant complete.

You aren't required to be 18 to buy an M rated game (GTA, COD) on your own, just 17.
Which I think that a majority of the younger audience plays CoD because of constant, non-stop begging their parents to buy it for them on release date or Christmas, as for older audiences, our parents wouldn't buy it for us, and we have to budget our money carefully to buy the game. That's just my theory.

I agree money is an important point and i guess why it is like it is because most older people also have PCs and we all know what steam does every holiday.

Also im a britfag so most of ours is rated for films and some games by BBFC U PG 12/12a 15 18
and 3 7 12 16 18 for PEGI rated games

call of duty.. playercards banned for dirty pictures/text and swear words not allowed in clan tags. if everyone who played the game was 18 or above who would actually care about that? i understand xbox banning dirty gamertags cause you could go play viva pinata with that ****, but not on an 18 game. it's ridiculous..

Just because its an 18+ game doesn't mean they should ******* put cartoon vaginas in their emblem, ******* retarded.
