This was not meant to be a jab against christianity or christians, this was meant to be a jab at Rick Perry and his homophobic "strong" campaign. Explaining why leviticus which says that homosexuality is a sin is no longer relevant in our modern day.

implying it doesn't say homosexuality is bad anywhere else in the bible, like in genesis where it says marraige is between one man and one woman and the two shall become one flesh...

Well no, that just says that the result of marriage should be the creation of flesh, and that can only be done between a man and a woman, it is giving a reason for the opposite sexes being needed for pregnancy.
