actually there is going to be a metal gear solid ground zeroes, and another game which is strongly rumored to be mgs5 and its called the phantom pain. also, there is a metal gear solid movie coming out and its produced by the same guy who produces marvel movies.

I have good and bad news for you my friend:

1. MGO was shut down on June 13th of 2012. That's why anyone who played it is so reminiscent about it. Sorry to burst your bubble. What a great game.

2. Metal Gear Rising will have an online mode which may be a new MGO, but it's not confirmed about what the online mode will actually be. Nonetheless, there will be an online mode.

3. If you've been paying attention to video games lately, there's this game called "Phantom Pain" or something, and if you google search the game, everyone thinks that it's a fake game by a fake game company. Why is this significant? It's believed to be Metal Gear Solid 5 in disguise, and there's actually a lot of evidence to back up this theory and this is TOTALLY something Kojima would pull.

There actually is a new Metal Gear game in development titled Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes.

Kojima said that it was sort of his Metal Gear Solid 5, being in between Peace Walker and the first Metal Gear game.

I think it debuted at TGS last year.
