You now realize Japanese make gawk-ass attempts at English names like we do Japanese.
Example: Make up a Japanese name for yourself
Mine example: Kikaru Matashi (Bullshit)
>yfw Japan's version: Ash Ketchum, Brock, Misty (Close), Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Gohan, Oak, Yugioh, Kiba, Joey (Good)
They think those are English names. I always thought that was kind of cool.

Except those either are actually Japanese names, or not the characters' names in Japan, or puns.
