on a slightly related note i hate how the media sometimes blames murders on violent video games even though murders have been happening since B.C.E. times. god i hate the media== most of the time==

It's also worth mentioning that the rest of the world plays the same video games as the USA, and we don't have regular school shootings as a result.

The problem is in the USA's mentality towards guns and gun control... Trying to get a US citizen to see that is like trying to sell sand to Arabs though.

we also have terrible care for mentally troubled people. my ex gf was admitted to a psych ward and shit and goes to a therapist still...yet she can still buy a gun. there is your problem

her parents admitted her. she was 17 at the time. so technically it was voluntary...but not for her.

I think mental records as a minor don't carry into adulthood so that's probably why.
