the man was shocked that the other person knew of his incorrect meme usage, and the troll face was implicating his forseeing abilities, wheres in the final panel it appears as if hes trying to figure out if his employer was a dumbass, or a master of an elaborate ruse

Well the people that used le in their comics still used it a lot but nobody complained back then. I think the reason that everybody started to hate it is because people just wanted to do the exact same thing other sites like Funnyjunk do..
