I catch legendaries only in pokeballs, just adds a level of challenge to it. It should be something you gotta work for.

Sucked when I got Zekrom on my first one. Was rather anti-climatic

i always catch legendaries with a pokeball thats the same color as them, dunno why.

You think that's bad? First time i EVER got a masterball was in Blue. I fought a guy that had a Mankey, and i used it on him. The fucker smacked the ball away and i just wasted my masterball.

MFW I caught Kyogre with a pokeball

I have caought every single legendary i own with non-masterball balls. The worst one was rayquaza. Damned fucker kept killing itself.

I was under the impression nobody used the masterball on the mascot legendary...
I usually save it for freak occurances like shinies and soft reseting legendaries

I used my masterball on one of the legendary birds, it rained pokeballs on the day I reached mewtwo.

I've played Pokemon over 10 years and I've never encountered a shiny pokemon, until a few days ago, a Purrloin on White 2. Fucking critical hit with swift killed the fucker. 10 years, 10 fucking years.

First time I played Ruby, it took me about an hour to get to the top of Sky Pillar. When I finally got there, I saved before fighting Rayquaza. This was the first pokemon game I'd played, so I had used my master ball on Groudon. So I fought Rayquaza, and let me tell you, his moveset seems like it was designed to make him hard to catch. Rest when he is low on health makes him a pain in the ass, and there's always the risk that he'll kill himself with outrage. I managed to get him down to around 10 HP, without any false swipe or moves like that. Again, I was new. So I look in my pack, and the only things that I have are about 15 pokeballs. I wasn't going to go down, because getting up there was so difficult in the first place, so I had no option to spend hours resetting the game, over and over. Sometimes he killed himself, sometimes I killed him, sometimes I ran out of pokeballs. In the end, I managed to catch him with 3 pokeballs left, with him paralyzed and confused. I saved the game three times immediately just to make absolutely sure that I had him.

I remember playing Emerald in 2003, and I spent ages trying to catch Rayquaza, like hours, then eventually I got it. December 14th 2003. I was so happy that day because I caught it.



Also my sister was born but that doesn't matter as much

No bullshit I caught Giratina in Diamond and Pearl by just throwing a pokeball at it, no damage, status, or anything, first turn regular ass pokeball. Now what happened next is gonna sound bullshit, but I swear it happened, I was on the DS lite when this happened while riding in a car, we hit a huge bump and my finger pushed the power button, FML.

I have a friend who has made it his solemn goal to catch every legendary in Black 2 (yes I play the new gen pokemon games) with only pokeballs. So far he hasn't failed and every time he catches them he gives me this look <----

Om my first Soulsilver playthrough when I went to go catch Mewtwo, I ended up wasting all 40-60 of my ultraballs and ended up catching him with my final pokeball.
