Next time compare whores from the 40s to the whores of today.

This is comparing successful women to coke-sniffing whores.

"How did this happen?"

Oh, I don't know. Maybe the 50 ******* YEARS SEPARATING THE TWO GROUPS OF WOMEN.

Men have had rights longer than women. Men gave rights to women.

Did you know, that in ancient egypt, one of the most successful Ancient Civilizations ever, which lasted for about 3000 years, gave women similiar rights as men? Just a fun fact I thought you should know.

pretty sure you're comparing two different classes of people here. there have always been ambitious, successful people, and there have always also been faggots.

I think the girl in the grey and the girl second from the left are quite pretty.

Well, honestly the modern picture looks fine. They aren't doing anything to make them non-respectable. If it showed a bunch of duckfaced jailbait, then I'd understand.

Let's compare two completely different social demographics and use it as a single sample size for how the world is falling apart.

Compounded with the **** section and the incessant "Tits or GTFO," it's a wonder that this community can breath through the same hole it drinks with.

Then proceeds with whining about "wahh im nice guy why girls no want to date me"
#73 to #47 - John Cena (01/05/2013) [-]
meanwhile they have nothing interesting to say about themselves other than the fact that they do nice things, only they only do it for attention.

Thank the nine you're anons or else I'd bring the fury of a million suns down upon your ignorant asses. Sex is a human need and because so many girls see it as something casual (the **** section is ladies like you willing to expose themselves) then we WISH that women protect themselves a little more so that REAL men with enough courage and care about the woman can approach and actually WORK to make her smile.

Damn this generation of girls, so many women fought for their rights by being respected members of society then we get this crap. I think this is why many are against gay marriage (myself not included).

The 19th amendment was ratified in 1920. The clothes they're wearing are obviously from the late 1940s to early 1950s.

I'll be honest with ya and say I know quite a few girls who dress like the girls on the right who are actually really smart.. i mean come on ..since when cant you be hot AND smart.
Besides, i think they're dressed okay for a night out or something (except maybe the one in pink).
User avatar #105 to #60 - thatoneiranianguy (01/05/2013) [-]
I agree with this.

Personally, my statement for dressing is dress for the occassion. If it's a night out to a club blasting your wubstep, then don't put a big fancy dress on (or a suit if you're a guy) Then you'll just look like a tool. If it's a dance or some sort of significant party, might want to dress a bit more "appropriate."

But the way people dress shouldn't be judged by others really. Just people should be aware of the implications it can cause you....like when you show up for a job interview for a business and you're dressed like a swag fag....

Only classy people had cameras back then. Now everyone has cameras and can broadcast their classlessness more efficiently through the internet.

I'm sorry why are we complaining? According to this picture women started wearing less... and we're all complaining about it. So you prefer women to dress according to the left rather than the right? I will say this though, that lady in the grey picture has a sexy ass hat

The people on the left look like adults, it's not fair to compare them to teenagers.
User avatar #99 to #98 - BadManTaliban (01/05/2013) [-]
nah, ive seen plenty of pictures of my grandma and her sisters as teens and they looked like that.

It's true. They're both dressing as what men find attractive. Humans are pretty much the same as they were 6000 years ago, but it's what knowledge people have access to and what kind of things hold their attention (i.e. the basis of a culture) has constantly been changing. The same things that has given us a civilization where living past twenty is normal is the same driving force behind what we consider problems today.

Humans are competitive. Men fight other men to establish dominance. Women thus vie for the attention of those men who win the fights. That's pretty much the driving force behind our entire history as the dominant species of this planet. Women have always just been doing what has been shown to attract men of power or influence.
#110 to #109 - John Cena (01/05/2013) [-]
tl;dr we're pretty much at status quo here, just like we've always been.
#103 to #99 - miaandvinny (01/05/2013) [-]
But if you would want to get your point across, I would recomand making the people similiar in some ways.
User avatar #104 to #103 - BadManTaliban (01/05/2013) [-]
yeah but at the same time, the point is that they dont have anything in common because back then, that was the norm. now the norm is what it is.
