Personally, my statement for dressing is dress for the occassion. If it's a night out to a club blasting your wubstep, then don't put a big fancy dress on (or a suit if you're a guy) Then you'll just look like a tool. If it's a dance or some sort of significant party, might want to dress a bit more "appropriate."

But the way people dress shouldn't be judged by others really. Just people should be aware of the implications it can cause you....like when you show up for a job interview for a business and you're dressed like a swag fag....
