Considering the majority of the games on Steam don't have achievements, and even if they do it's a pain in the arse to find out which ones other people have; I'm going to say no, they don't.

If i ever buy a game, it'll be a game from an indie company. But if the game is from for example EA, then i'll just download it.

It's going to be 3 years that I'm enjoying my pirated UT3 online, Portal 2 with my friend was fun too (because getting fucking hamachi to make a virtual LAN totally won't give me the ability to play it online) Crysis wars was working perfectly fine too, even thouth it's not as much fun as MWLL for which I obtained crysis in the first place.


But nowadays you don't even have to pirate to enjoy games, there's plenty of good FTP online games now... like Mechwarrior Online (cryengine 3, giant robots, PC only, what's there not to love)
Planetside 2 is pretty fucking large scale FPS for a free game.
War Rock... pretty much counter strike or any of the shitty CoD clones..except for fucking free
Tribes Ascend running on Unreal engine giving it the good feel of calculating your enemies trajectories to make them intercept the ballistic curves of your spinfusor.
the list goes on and on... But I guess you just NEED TO BUY games in order to have fun online

Although I agree with you, Many of these are not examples of piracy but are just free. A good example would be Halo 1 and 2 with third party online dedicated servers. I'm sure there are other examples but I'm not sure that there are any examples where they are not able to do it using third party online dedicated servers, which may not be considered seamless.

u can play most of the cod multiplayers perfectly well with pirated games.
and for some games like ac3 or far cry 3 u dont really want the multiplayer so bad so u just pirate them and play the singleplayer

Never said it slowed my computer or had any detrimental effect at all. I said it was process hungry. Google chrome takes up much more process than the average browser and steam takes up multiple times that for running idle. You all assumed I meant it did something to my computer. I am saying for an idle program running it takes up too much process.

Process hungry doesn't quantify it. It could take less than 1% of my ram and I could call it process hungry because it takes up more than my average program. For an idle program that only runs so they can keep track of what you play, it takes up too much process.

It has nothing to do with the specs of a computer. It is entirely what the program is for and how much it takes up to do it.

In all honesty, both are equally easy.
But if you don't know the band, when you search them on youtube you tend to only get the hits.
Unless you know specifically what song to search for, but that isn't always the case if the band are new to you.

Scribblenauts Unlimited was on daily deal on steam for $21, on Amazon $7.50

And using a credit I got for buying Bioshock 1 and 2 on amazon, I was able to get War of the Roses for $10 and on steam daily deals it was $15.

Steam has a lot of games on sale, but you can find games on sale cheaper in other places.
