What about the game ring? That thing, I can't remember the name, you stood in a padded ring wearing a helmet and had a gun shaped controller; it's in the movie Hackers, the bad guy Plague is using it. Also were is the Power Glove?

Not even close.
The very first game, even before Pong, was Tennis For Two.
Pong was made in 1972, while Tennis For Two was made in 1958.
It was a very simple tennis game played on an analog computer with an oscilloscope as screen.

True story, Google it up!
