2012 technologicaly speaking wans't bad, i mean, we now got exo skelleton, curiosity was cool, people all over the world making invisible capes, and some scients made a cilinder evade all the light thus becoming entirely invisible, we got oppan gangam style

but personaly speaking that year was cool, did some stuff, met people, that kind of shit.

Actually, the scientists never called it that, it was just the media.
The media wanted to call it that so that they could imply there was no need for any kind of god because of the 'god particle'.

I haven't seen a single science report that has said it has definitely been 100% confirmed, and I have seen no evidence that it has been.
All the reports I've read say it has been confirmed in the headline just to get you interested, but in the actual report, they say they do not know for sure. After all, how can you know for sure?
[Trust me, I've read a lot of reports. Everywhere was spammed with them when they 'found' the Higgs boson
