Silly ofmiceandmen, real men can down straight shots of vodka. Of all the people I know a majority of the men enjoy vodka. One of them requested a bottle of Russian Standard for his birthday and another requested Saffron Vodka. Hell, I've seen a guy down 22 shots of vodka in under 2 hours, though he was Russian so I'm not sure he counts..

From what I understand Russians drink vodka as if it was water. Instead of water. They have iron livers.

I drink vodka. I see plenty of guys drink vodka. Putting stuff in the vodka isn't my thing, but I have mixed it with Jones soda. That's pretty good. I prefer beer.

Just an observation. Me and all my guy friends drink beer and whisky. The only time you'll ever find me drinking vodka is if I feel like having a red bull vodka at the bar.

Vodka's seen as more of a womans alcohol because you can pretty much only mix it with fruity shit. Drinking it straight is like drinking rubbing alcohol so that doesn't fly either.

All kinds of vodka tastes the same to just the higher quality ones are more smooth. I don't want my drink to taste like pure alcohol. That's why if I'm going to be drinking straight liquor I choose whisky or even spiced rum. Something with a little flavor.

I stopped drinking to get drunk long ago. I drink socially now. If I do drink to get drunk that's where the shots of jack come in to play.

Well yeah I still get drunk but I used to go overboard and get completely trashed. By drink socially I mean drink enough to be feeling good but not enough to be completely shitfaced and end up doing something stupid or praying to the porcelain gods all night.
