Still sounds illegal to me.
Also
They are not in anyway able to tell if you have the legal right to download that file, what you do is buy few games then torrent them. (backup copy). And let them annoy the producers. After few fake stuff like this they'll won't care.
Also download using ssl, they are unable to know what it is.
Also In few days I'll be launching peer2mail. Anyone spying on someone that downloads stuff using p2m will only see a shot load of email attachments

my university does the same, teachers says that because the universiy is free (i pay nothing), the university isn't selling knowledge but just providing knowledge, so for educational purpose they are allowed to copy books/softwares/etc....
(maybe what i just said didn't meant shit, i'm not an english speaker and i apologize)

My Math teacher talked about this back in high school. You are paid to get an education. In America, every hour you spend in high school equates to about 70 dollars because you will be paid more at a job for having more qualifications. If you decide to get an AA (2 years of college) you are paid about 100 dollars for every hour spent in college (that includes tuition, subtracts the time that you spend actually learning, and assumes that other people started working right away.
long story short, we do get paid for school, just not directly.

And if you aren't able to get a job because the economy sucks ass and every job is getting 100 applications?
How about the fact that the majority that you learn in college you would learn on the job? Medical doctors obviously excluded.
We put too much emphasis on college. Most jobs that require it don't even need it. And yet, here we are, forcing our kids to go to college to get a job. Because, even though that job doesn't need it, we're brainwashed into thinking we need it. We'll pay anything for something most jobs don't even need but require.
Welcome to the real world, where you get fucked and it doesn't make any sense.

And as a matter of fact, college helps you to find a job. For instance, I am currently studying at the University of Arizona as an Industrial Engineer. I got an internship my junior year at Intel and after they saw how I worked in their office they extended the offer that they will pay for the rest of my school and a masters degree if I work for them. Its a secure job because they are investing in me, and I get a free education.
You get from college what you go to get, of course people that party and waste 50 G arnt going to be successful, and they will come complain about it. yeah, sometimes lifes a bitch, but it will be a lot worse if you dont have that piece of paper that says your smart.

I need a one way ticket to Scandinavia because college is ridiculously expensive in America.
But wait, I can only speak English because I was born and raised in America where schools do not stress learning a second language. No wonder people think Americans are uneducated.

You would actually get far with english. Most people from 17 and up should be expected to be somewhat fluent in english. Also, free healthcare, and lots of chances of support and such. Also, you have to pay 125% for most things. The money has to come from somewhere
