I thought the Paper Mario series was the most different in the franchise. And they were ******* awesome.

Call of Duty have had like, 7(?) games on one generation of consoles, Mario has had 1 NSMB (except for 3DS) on each console since it started.

doesn't the "same gameplay, new worlds" (in this case, maps) apply to CoD as well? ._.

Let us remember that the platformers are just a type of mario games. Mario also has RPGs, for example

._. yes... because a game that uses DirectX is worse than a game only now made for a console who has a ******* rock age ATI graphics card....

Please tell me how badly it is executed...
The game is kinda nice, but the community ruins it.
still, if the game were to be as bad as you're telling me, it wouldn't sell so much

controls- awesome for every platform
Distribution- one of the best
Support- ****** as ****
Graphics- meh, not bad and not excelent, good.
SP plot- meh, cliché
MP- fun fast paced
Community- ******* kids with no more than 10 years.
Sound- could be better but it's not bad.

But ok, I guess i can be like you and talk without experiencing stuff...

By the way, i LOVE super mario, but in terms of what a game is, it's the same thing over and over again.

graphics- from 5 years ago.
Gameplay- fun IF accompanied by others.
Controls- easy
Support- lulwut?
community- mostly kids
Sound- meh

the video game that had more sales ever was black ops.... but ok, i guess im talking to myself in here...
And mario has the SAME soundtracks.
also, the new super mario's ALL use the same engine, which means NONE of them was built from scratch...

seriously, get your facts straight

well its like food: if you have the same thing for dinner everyday you grow tired of it. but spread em apart and it gets stays good. CoD is released every year just as the last one dies down. mario takes much longer to release a main game (the super mario games are just starting to seem like a cashgrab at this point trying to get people to buy them for co-op and a more classic style). if cod took more time (like 2-3 years in between ANY games) then i would be more accepting of the simulaities. heck games that are even more the same take more time inbetween games

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Cawadoody needs fixing. Super Mario doesn't.
