A lot of people i've met like to play video games as a girl. I've tried it and it just doesn't work for me. i like to make my character look like me as much as possible. I guess it's just my opinion. So why do guys like to play as girls?

As long as we're all discussing gender identity....
Sometimes I want to be feminine. I'll be in a clothing store, I'll glance at women's clothes and think "Wow! Those jeans would look really cute with that top! And with that necklace" and think about making a girl play dress up for me but I'd NEVER express this openly. Instead I just pretend to not notice and keep walking, and stick to being "manly".
Basically, I get really jealous of girls sometimes because they're allowed to be weak and feel pretty. And they're allowed to be much nicer people. Generally, dudes are often dicks to each other and have to act stronger than they actually are. I get tired of that and wish I could just show weakness and maybe feel pretty.

I usually do my first play through of a game that lets you choose your gender as a guy first. Then I do another as a girl. That's what I have done with pretty much every RPG I have ever played that has given me the option.
