The first one actually looks like Ian Holm.  And I've  never seen Rankin Bass' versions but the animation is freaky as 						****					, all the hobbits look like obese monkeys.

The Hobbit game was so ******* fun.
Trying to sneak around Smaug and avoiding stepping in his massive gold piles thus causing him to wake up and fire your **** was so damn awesome.

I'm pretty sure there was one more animated version lord the rings, around 90 minutes or so that was played on cartoon network between 2003 and 2008
