The 2 in H2O means there are 2 hydrogen molecules, and the O means there is only one Oxygen molecule. Now you know...and knowing is half the battle. G.I. JOOOOOOOEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

When he said oxygen he used the correct molecular formula of water, the hydrogen20 was when the next guy called him a dumbass and said that H20 is water, which it isn't

O is oxygen. O2 is oxygen gas. H2O is water. Regardless of it's form, oxygen cannot = H2O
