If you can't afford a mechanic then tough **** . That's what a doctor is right? A body mechanic?

Does anyone else love the fact that I'm thumbed down while no one has been smart enough to argue against it?

Well, argue against it well.
User avatar #196 to #189 - mutzaki (12/30/2012) [-]
Because clearly you seem to be the type of person that would consider any argument against you good.
#171 to #157 - mutzaki (12/30/2012) [-]
Yes, because that is the same.
#172 to #171 - pedobearson (12/30/2012) [-]
If you don't give me an argument you are wrong.

Having the right of free health care ensures that anyone has a chance to fix their physical ailments or possibly have their life saved, despite economic status.
If your car doesn't work, you can walk, ride a bike, or take a god damn bus.
#186 to #182 - pedobearson (12/30/2012) [-]
And why shouldn't economic status take a part in healthcare? If you work 12 hours a day then you damn well deserve a doctor that studies 12 hours a day!

Hey, let me shoot you in the chest and rob you of all your money, so you can't afford to be saved.

Then how about I get, oh I don't know, insurance?
User avatar #199 to #197 - mutzaki (12/30/2012) [-]
Aww, man, too bad, though, because you couldn't afford the insurance, or the insurance company decided that they won't cover it.
Oh, well, byebye.
#202 to #199 - pedobearson (12/30/2012) [-]
Assuming we are still using said circumstance, I would have already had insurance. Also, nowadays insurance companies can't say : I don't want to cover this.

OK. Here's a scenario. If someone works 10-12 hours a day, but is making minimum wage, can't afford health insurance along with all their other expenses such as rent, gas/bus pass, food, utility bills, etc... Say this person also needs their appendix out, but really cannot afford the operation, or even the monthly payments to the hospital. What then? Still no help?
#1053 to #229 - pedobearson (12/31/2012) [-]
They should have worked harder in the first place to get health insurance.
#1085 to #1053 - xxxdemongirl (01/02/2013) [-]
So someone working 10-12 grueling hours a day but still can't pay for necessities because of minimum wage isn't working hard enough...

If you can't afford a mechanic, you have to walk.
If you can't afford a doctor, you die.
But **** those hippies, right?
#170 to #166 - pedobearson (12/30/2012) [-]
It doesn't matter if it causes you to die. A lack of shelter might also kill you. Are we going to give homes to every family that doesn't have one?
User avatar #173 to #170 - thegorn (12/30/2012) [-]
Because that would just be insane
#174 to #173 - pedobearson (12/30/2012) [-]
Exactly. I am assuming you are not being sarcastic because it's hard to sense sarcasm over a screen.
#181 to #174 - anonymous (12/30/2012) [-]
It might be hard to get that he is in fact sarcastic because you have a big healthy dose of aspergers.
#177 to #174 - anonymous (12/30/2012) [-]
...i think he is being sarcastic
#184 to #177 - pedobearson (12/30/2012) [-]
If he doesnt set it straight then I won't.
