Assuming we are still using said circumstance, I would have already had insurance. Also, nowadays insurance companies can't say : I don't want to cover this.

OK. Here's a scenario. If someone works 10-12 hours a day, but is making minimum wage, can't afford health insurance along with all their other expenses such as rent, gas/bus pass, food, utility bills, etc... Say this person also needs their appendix out, but really cannot afford the operation, or even the monthly payments to the hospital. What then? Still no help?

They should have worked harder in the first place to get health insurance.
