the truth is: getting control of it takes many failed try, much more than someone who isn´t bound to get afflicted is ready to face.

Who gets it against his will should try to control it, who doesn´t... must expect a lot of sheer terror before getting in control of the situation.

Maybe in other comments i should have warned that my advices are meant for who gets this thing against his intention.

nothing much, usually your reflex modify, sometimes open his mouth and grows extra teeth, sometimes turns into a monster and laughs at you...

I think the most terrifing thing about this is when a small kid calls his mom, a projection of her comes and then turns into one of the monsters. that´s way worse than looking into a mirror.

you can summon music or compose new music, but you can´t hear sounds actually happening in your surrounding.

Even the sensation of opening your eyes and see your room is just an illusion.
Usually if you do so you may see your room as if the light is on, even if is actually pitch black,

Or your brain may rebuild some place where you have been sleeping in your past, and trick you in thinking you are "now" in that place.

It happens a lot to immigrants, because first months or years in the new country they must work a lot.

just relax, summon a projection of your favourite pornstars, profit.

as i told in comment #32, when things gets unpleasant, turn yourself invulnerable with a cheat code from a videogame, it will work on you as it works for your avatar in videogame, and summon a BFG (Big Frigging Gun) to get rid of malevolent projections...

Of course you already know how hard it is struggling to get control over front lobes and accept fact nothing is really happening (you can´t breath because the crisis is actually shorter than the time an impulse from the brain can reach your ribscage.)
