Mostly correct. Only that, being spaniard myself, I have never heard anyone spelling it "huehuehue"; only if it was refering to the meme.
And not all of the spelling of laughter are pronunced the same, that's the funny thing with spanish we spell things like we pronunce them, so "jajaja", "jejeje", "hehehe", and etc. are all diferent kinds of laughs both spelled and pronunced.

I thought the meme came from the Brazilian online communities, and Brazil speaks Portuguese not Spanish. While very similar, they are not exactly the same. Wouldn't the dialect differences account for this pronunciation issue?
