Whoever made this comic is obviously an introvert.

What does that have to do with anything?

Definitely not an introvert then. No introvert in the history of forever has ever gotten married and had children. That would just be ridiculous.

I didn't read introvert there. My apologies. I need to rest. I read a different word entirely.

An introvert is a person who gains energy from being alone and thinking, and is often better at thinking than extroverts. Extroverts gain energy from being around other people and talking. They like small-talk and are good at it. Introverts don't like small talk as much and are not good at it, they prefer deep meaningful conversations with few close friends. Don't confuse introvert with shy, extroverts can also be shy. There is actually no correlation between shyness and introvertedness. Just because someone is an introvert, doesn't mean they are a bookworm who sits and daydreams all day, they just prefer a (not much) higher alone time/in public ratio. Introverts make up about 25% of the population.

I can proudly say I'm an introvert who's not that shy. I just can't do small talk. I'd rather get down to business then waste time talking around the subject.

Ohh, I can relate with that to some degree. I used to be spot on with that description, but since I've met my girlfriend I've because a mixture of the two in a way.

You were probably just kind of shy, shyness overlaps introvertedness in some areas. It's almost impossible to change which side of the spectrum you're on. Ususally when someone thinks they become the opposite, they just overcame (or became) shy. When someone changes sides of the spectrum, it's because of a major change in their life. You may also have switched spectrums, especially if she's your first girlfriend.

I can tell with 100% certainty that I wasn't shy, I am anything but shy. I was social, but not to where I had a huge range of friends. She is my first one actually. It's enlightened me and made me do things I wasn't terribly comfortable with before. I'm a completely different person.

Then there you go. You've convinced me you've switched sides. It's not bad to be an introvert like most people think. George Clooney's an introvert. I am an introvert.

For those who don't understand:

A young man notices a beautiful traveller, being alpha, he offers her a flower.
Seeing as he's just some nobody, she shoos him by requesting he bring her a purple one.
He spends hours looking, then rushes back with the flower in hand only to find her gone.
The tree she sat by was gratified with an odd symbol, and he assumes she was kidnapped.

He spends a lifetime searching, tracking the strange markings.
With each trial he encounters on his journey to save her,
he became stronger, wiser. He became someone.

Eventually he finally comes across the kingdom governed by the markings.
With the purple flower in hand, being the badass he became,
he charged in.

Only to find the damsel he meant to save wasn't kidnapped,
but happily lef with the now-king who left marking.
She was also incredibly morbid, living a life of leisure and laziness.

He felt foolish, however he saw himself in the mirror and realized he was anything but a fool.
Through his struggles and ventures,
he became strong. He was filled with knowledge and culture.
Though his initial journey finally ended,
As a free man, a new one was about to begin. This time at his discretion.
Start.
