What if I'm driving and I need to block the sun but my visor can't reach? Am I just supposed to suffer through sun in my eyes and endanger myself and others on the road or do you think, just maybe, it might be a little bit possible for me to turn my hat to the side to block the sun?
Oh gee, if I only I had thought of that, oh wait. I did, not all cars have a visor big enough to block the sun. Also what if I'm out and about and the sun happens to be in a place that my hat doesn't block while in a 12 'oclock or 6 'oclock position without me turning my head? What then? Why must I suffer the sun being in my eyes simply because a few shit heads don't like the way it looks and can't let others just wear their hats/clothing the way they want?
