Dude wtf, that is not a voltage divider. There are no capacitors or diodes to make it that way. The current goes threw the wire instead of the resistor since electricity follows the easiest path back to ground or negative since the wire has basically o ohms. It goes threw the wire instead of the resistor thus the saying resistance is futile

Dude, I'm seeing brown black brown. brown black yellow. the black looks purple, It's really hard to tell. And I'm using the 4th band as the tolerance it looks gold. but it is really hard to tell. The thing in the picture is a resistor, found within circuits. They restrict the flow of current (amps) within a circuit to prevent any other devices from overheating or breaking. The colours represent different amounts ( found within a colour co-ordinator )
