Number 9: Wrong! The elastic band, being an elastic band, when touched by the brush will be displaced and bounce back, spraying little drops of paint everywhere.

Someone doesn't know how density works and how easily it is to go from a unit of volume to one of weight if you know said density.
#214 to #208 - jakeattack (12/25/2012) [-]
no i do know how density works. .456 liters is 456 grams but i mean the fact that you used metric to measure yet converted it to imperial. thats what.
User avatar #217 to #214 - hybridboxll (12/26/2012) [-]
That's not density.
#218 to #217 - jakeattack (12/26/2012) [-]
the density of water is 1.00 grams per cubic centimeter or also known as a millimeter. yes that is density. but that was not what i meant by converting to lbs. i meant the fact that your measuring cups are metric but due to the fact you convert to lbs then you are using imperial scale. that's what.
User avatar #219 to #218 - hybridboxll (12/26/2012) [-]
Yes, it's pretty straight forward to convert from imperial to metric. Still don't see what's so paradigm changing.
#220 to #219 - jakeattack (12/26/2012) [-]
i meant like your units on your measuring cup are metric yet you are in a place that you want pounds.lol nevermind

If you will notice, that is an assortment of different beer. Maybe it was beer left over from a party and the boxes had been thrown out already.
User avatar #195 to #193 - ludislavonac (12/25/2012) [-]
Well often you don't buy beer bottles in a package...
User avatar #197 to #195 - twisteoffate ONLINE (12/25/2012) [-]
Do bottles of beer not usually come in boxes?
User avatar #207 to #197 - bibl (12/25/2012) [-]
Six packs do.
#198 to #197 - ludislavonac (12/25/2012) [-]
Dunno, I usually only buy 4-5 at once and put them in a bag
User avatar #191 - AnFour (12/25/2012) [-]
whats that one post where it shows you how to avoid a hangover something about drinking a glass of water and eating a banana? Anyone care to post a link? pretty please?
#194 to #191 - anonymous (12/25/2012) [-]
I don't have a link, but I think it's drink a glass of water after every beer, and maybe eat a banana after your done drinking? From what I understand from hangovers, they mainly happen because you become dehydrated from your liver trying to filter the alcohol out of your system. Potassium also helps you retain your hydration or whatever, which, you know, bananas have a lot of.
User avatar #189 - chucknorrisTHEGAME (12/25/2012) [-]
Oh good, I just so happen to have a cup that measures water to the decimal. **** scales though, who need's 'em?

And I'm also glad you told me about the grilled cheese one. I, too, enjoy food that has flown across my kitchen upon finishing cooking and landed most probably on my floor.
User avatar #188 - justsambino (12/25/2012) [-]
Do NOT do the toaster one! Tried it. Smoke EVERYWHERE. Set my fire alarm off.
#186 - fisty (12/25/2012) [-]

People seem to think drinking out of a can with a straw is pointless. I'll have you know it's not. Drinking soda is actually very acidic, and over time, it can erode the enamel on your teeth. Using a straw whenever you drink anything acidic or sugary can help you avoid erosion of your teeth.

Finally.. I;ve waited so long for this to relevant, in any way, shape, or form...
User avatar #171 to #163 - darthblam (12/25/2012) [-]
Unless that straw goes straight into your god damn throat, the soda is still touching your teeth by filling up in your mouth.

Your idea on straws helping in dentistry is flawed. Especially if you some how think drinking through a straw affects the acidity of the liquid.
User avatar #183 to #171 - jesusfrankenstein (12/25/2012) [-]
It doesn't fill up in your mouth. If it does that means you're swishing it, and have fun with going to the dentist when you get "mountain dew mouth"!
#213 to #183 - darthblam (12/25/2012) [-]
Right... obviously you're right without any reason or proof, please tell me more about how you're such an expert on dentistry.
User avatar #221 to #213 - jesusfrankenstein (12/26/2012) [-]
Google it, ******** . Go to the library. Obviously you've never done research in your life. Or just ask your dentist.
