> Left and right are predefined directions relative to your body. Left and right are opposite directions.
> Red is monochromatic radiation with a wavelength between 630 and 700 nanometers. It is perceived as a vivid, lustful color, that is easily noticed.
> Pink is a color that doesn't exist. Look for it on a spectrum of observable light (i.e. a rainbow).
> Water has no taste, only the impurities have taste.

Pink is red desaturated, to a certain extent, into white.

Not really, the only one of those that actually took any real knowledge was the one describing red light, and if you're good at science it really isn't hard to describe.

I can confirm the pink one, the colour pink is basically white light with the colour green removed.

You forgot one detail, which direction is left in and which direction is right in if they are opposite from each other?
#647 to #504 - anonomysmonkey (12/25/2012) [-]
the challenge is to explain the difference between left and right, not to explain which way is left and which way is right.

I know when I was a kid, the biggest challenge was understanding mirror image. Me and my dad had many a conversation on that before I finally got it.

do you know why kids love the taste on Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
User avatar #652 to #359 - instakill (12/25/2012) [-]
because the sweet tastes and appealing colors and advertisements appeal to the brain of a child making them crave sugar and cinnamon and that is the most popular form of those two substances in an easily acquirable way for children
#649 to #359 - anonomysmonkey (12/25/2012) [-]
Because there's a ******** of sugar.

A "colour" is not defined as "something on the colour spectrum". It's the tag our brain uses with a specific wavelength of light. Pink is a colour.
User avatar #549 to #357 - popkornking (12/25/2012) [-]
No because pink is just a more diluted red light, therefore the wavelengths are the same
User avatar #307 to #124 - TheBanana (12/24/2012) [-]
Nope doesn't count. U used red to describe red
#648 to #307 - anonomysmonkey (12/25/2012) [-]
No I didn't. I told the reader the color I was describing before I explained it.

> Red is monochromatic radiation with a wavelength between 630 and 700 nanometers. It is perceived as a vivid, lustful color, that is easily noticed.

A proton is composed of two up quarks (each with electric charge +2⁄3, for a total of +4⁄3 together) and one down quark (with electric charge −1⁄3). Adding these together yields the proton charge of +1. Although quarks also carry color charge, hadrons must have zero total color charge because of a phenomenon called color confinement. That is, hadrons must be "colorless" or "white". These are the simplest of the two ways: three quarks of different colors, or a quark of one color and an antiquark carrying the corresponding anticolor.

Seriously, bro, do you even science?

You explained a lot about subatomic workings of color but nothing about the color red... Sure it's nice to science every once and a while but you have to stay on track there buddy...

Very good :D I'd have defined left and right as angles. right being 0.1-179.9 degrees from a forward direction, and left being 180.1 to 359.9.
#260 to #137 - xxxsonic fanxxx (12/24/2012) [-]
I'm going to have to disagree and state that left is 9 o'clock and right is 3 o'clock
User avatar #175 to #137 - elbrysobrony (12/24/2012) [-]
I understand what you're meaning, but... it's possible to go more than 179.9 degrees and still be going left. Sorry for being nitpickey.
User avatar #134 to #124 - zramn (12/24/2012) [-]
I concur. Water has no taste because we are always experiencing it. It is the mind's perspective of it. If we met an alien race that did not have water, they could tell us how it tastes to them. But to us, just like we cannot taste our own tongue, we cannot taste water.
User avatar #395 to #134 - crazyanimefreak (12/24/2012) [-]
