appropriately. Not to mention that DEED
is typically attributed to those of above-
average intelligence, a trait that Sockhead
fits to a tee.

speaks" to him and occasionally tells
him to do insane things. Sure, this
could just be an example of kids and
their imaginations, but when was the
last time your teddy bear told you to

Johnny 2x4's 2 personalities, both being him, are a sheep, and a genius mastermind. He knows things, that only the most keen of observers would recognize. He tells him to do things that seem pointless, but ultimately lead to some grand goal that only a genius would have recognized at that point.
He's a genius coping with this. He's too smart for the people he's around - probably abused by his parents because of this, thus separating himself into 2 psyche's. An incredibly intelligent 2x4 - which no one else can hear, and can cause no troubles, and the follower Johnny - who doesn't do anything that'll bother others, unless his 2x4 demands it.

Was the troll face necessary? Also, don't you think that the character were designed with those traits in mind? You know, to make kids with those same issues (or close to them) feel better?
