I don't agree with it, but making products obsolete is a sound sales strategy. Without it, people wouldn't have to re-buy their products once they break, which would saturate the market and apple would be out of business.

You don't like it, I don't like it; it's a dirty trick. But how about we don't complain about it. You don't like the quality? Don't buy it, very simple. Did you buy it knowing it wasn't of good quality, and it broke? It's your own fucking fault.

It isn't apple's fault that making obsolete products is good for business, in fact most conglomerates use this strategy. It's up to you to judge the quality of the product and buy based on that judgement. Nothing productive is done by complaining though.

Yeah pretty well, it is supposed to be a "gaming laptop", the model I have is a generation back because I bought it last year so the new one will be more powerful. The only thing is that the graphics card isn't SUPER powerful, like it can handle all new games on mostly high settings. It's for the sake of portability because it's a gaming laptop that's actually portable, and it strikes a nice balance because I wouldn't have bought it if it were any bigger.

Yeah I only got the R1, but it's still great.... The wire doesn't really bother me, it's broken but it hasn't caused any problems.
