> Load of **** . The human brain takes the longest to develop of any organ.
> No. It aids inhibitory neurotransmitters such as GABA, and reduces the effects of promotional neurotransmitters such as glutamine. It does nothing to the connections, just keeps the signals from going as fast as they can.
> No - any video games do. You're managing an entire world within your real world. And that second world is even more eventful and dramatic. It also increases teamwork skills (multiplayer and coop mainly), decreases stress (killing zombies apparently takes out the want to kill people), aids in organization and resource management (counting your bullets/moneys), and finally, produces higher motivational and leadership skills (must...get...last...achievement).
> Wow something true.
> No. You can't specifically choose which memories are removed. There are memory blocking drugs, there are memory enhancing drugs. But we have no idea how memories are stored or where, so how could we possibly have a drug that targets specific memories and deletes them?
> No. It has nothing to do with the fact the nose is closer to the brain. It's just a lot harder to fool the nose than any other sense. Eyes? Optical illusions are simple. And there is so much processing that cheap tricks of the brain ruin it's reliability. Sounds, everything sounds similar really. Touch, again similar. Taste - it's too late. But smell? Everyone/thing has a unique smell. That's why animals have used smell since the dawn of time as the main sensory organ. Before humans that is. Because we have tools and **** to use, that need eyesight. Therefore, our eyes and visual learning are actually getting MUCH better.
> We actually prefer sets of 3. It's not really known WHY we prefer sets of 3. But we do. Anything beyond that, it gets to hazy to be reliable. But ~10 is max according to the researchers.

I approve of this. nice work.

except for the brain evolution, I wouldn't put it like that because even if you somehow evolved into a super being, you will still need the basic functions of the brain stem, so they are not really "primal" they are just "essential" to staying alive

actually we lose about 50% of our neurons before we reach adult-hood. the avg amount somebody has before adult-hood is 100 billion, but after adult-hood you only have 500 billion, or less.
