If he was the devil he would of gotten owned by God before he could do any of that.

actually there is something very similar in the book of revalation. The whore of babylon. A false prophet who lead astray many whose faith was weak, and have them believing they where doing gods work when really they were causing there own damnation. Many religious experts believe the whore of babylon to be the catholic church.

I don't remember God ever "owning" anyone. Especially not recently, what with him managing the outcome of sports games and appearing on pieces of toast.

He cast Satan out of heaven, I count that as owning.

The devil owned Satan the day he gave man free will by convincing Eve to eat the apple. Getting cast out because he wanted become more than what he was actually gave him the edge you become a name on par and level with that of god.

Well firstly, he cast Lucifer out of heaven for being "ambitious," i.e. wanting man to have free will and knowledge, rather than be mindless slaves of a higher power (commonly known today as fascism or dictatorship) existing only to praise the creator. And secondly, while he did cast him out of heaven, that evidently doesn't stop him from causing sin and strife throughout the world. This is all hypothetical, of course, depending on your level of belief in the Almighty creator of everything in the universe, including - you guessed it - sin.

Just as darkness is the lack of light, sin is the lack of good or righteousness. Also fyi, Lucifer wanted to take man's free will, by making him not have a mind of his own. It was Jesus' plan to allow man to have their own will, and God chose Jesus' plan over Lucifer, so Lucifer convinces 1/3 of the angels of heaven to come with him since he is mad at God, so God sends them to earth.
