I think people were expecting something like LoTR, but it wasn't, I noticed it was a lot more Disney-ish, lots of silly characters like the dwarves, trolls, and the goblin king.

Basically its been getting bad/average reviews from many film critics and 9/10 people who go to see it themselves love it. I honestly don't take notice of film reviews anymore unless they are really, really bad. I think most of them take films far too seriously (simply due to their career) and have forgotten what a wonderful adventure film feels like.

I really can't wait a year till part 2!
