no you are very right, but all the gas masks i've used (2 in total) had at least a carbon filter box. which is very ridged. and the one in the picture is soft and leatherly. but thank you for that picture, it very much made my night, but might add to my nightly nightmares. sorry if this is confusing, i'm not the most sober right now.
