The only reason why this post is on the frontpage, is because there are so many americans on the site. In any other modern society people would realise that it's not a good idea for everybody to have guns. But americans are still stuck in the 18th century, and they believe that it is a crime to change a constitution written 250 years.
Go ahead and thumb me down, but i'm just speaking the truth.

I'm Canadian and I still think gun control (to the extend it's done in some countries) is a fucking stupid idea. It's not just Americans that think this way dumbfuck, so get off your moral high horse.

i'll just thumb up because statistics don't lie. Barely any guns in France, England and japan and the homicide by firearm rate is exponentially lower.

Plus, an American politician was famous for his phrase 'war is archaic', maybe civil firearms can be too someday

I'll thumb you up, because this is the biggest problem. a law made centuries ago cannot possibly be relevant today, and yet they stand. as i have said below, I am not against guns for people, I think that it should be MUCH more difficult to get them, and there should be MUCH more attention paid to the people with licenses. in the UK, police inspect license holders twice a year, to see if they are keeping the thing correctly, and checks to see if they are involved in anything.

God damn your fucking retarded. Criminals will get guns even if their illegal. Just like they do drugs.

then what is the reason america has so much more gun related violence?
#219 to #210 - johnshepherd (12/15/2012) [-]
Because in America, gun-related violence is a more inclusive term. In the UK, a gun crime is only given that name if a gun was used and somebody was shot, in the USA, if a gun was so much as mentioned, it is classified as a gun crime, thus leading to more "gun-related violence" by virtue of having a more inclusive category.

Because of all the imports. With drugs come guns. America is so fucked up.

If you control borders the right way, I believe it's possible. In Denmark we have strict gun laws and only two or three people get killed by gunshots every year.

Well I like using guns. I know how that sounds but its a really good hobby. We just need more protection when it comes to acquire them. And also Denmark is a great place to live for safety from those kind of things. We have just about every race of person in this country. Which actually bring a lot of problems.
