Good guy cop.

Sure he seemed a little... harsh.... but he made all that effort just to return a plate. And he didn't penalize him (at least that's how it seems).

well, lets be honest, the license plate thing wasnt really his fault. the cop knew this and still tried to make him feel bad. if any lesson was learnt it was that cops are sneaky sneaky basstards

The police union uses its support as leverage to force the government to bend to its will. They create unjust, unconstitutional laws that prevent citizens from recording officers on the job in an obvious effort to keep incriminating evidence out of court when they do wrong.

Police officers are arrogant scum that know they can do whatever they want without fear of repercussions. The only way to stop them and return them to being stewards of the people is to end their political influence.

**** the government. **** the police.

Do U.S cops seriously consider impounding your car for not having a plate?

No, you have 24 hours to produce it before you get a ticket. If you don't bring the ticket and proof of the license to the Department of Motor Vehicles within that time frame, the ticket will get sent to traffic court where you'll have a month to get your **** together before the trial. A month after the incident in court you can present your case fully to the judge. If the judge determines that it's worthy of impoundation (Normally only happens if there have been previous incidents or if the judge is feeling like a douchebag), you're screwed.

On a side and completely unrelated not, Steve Jobs would get a new car every 2 1/2 months because you don't need a license plate for the first 3 months you have the car. That ****** would park in handicapped spaces and racked up tickets, but the cops couldn't fill them out right so he got out of all of them.

That's how America works. (By works I mean barely scrapes by.)

question FJ, if you print out of a fake license plate and paste it on your original liscense plate, then you decide to do a crime and drive off, will you get caught?

I usually hate cops, especially since I was arrested the first time. Occasionally you find the cops who aren't assholes, though. I was arrested a second time (stupid, I know) and the cop wound up not even charging me for any of the numerous **** he could have. He just took my weed, took my pieces, and towed me car (towed, not impounded). I took it as a wake-up call and haven't been ****** up since. Some cops really are looking out for us.

He has full battery. Not a lot of people maintain a completely charged Apple product but I see that he did. That's good.
