No it's not, alcohol is anything in the alcohol hydroxyl group.
Therefore, alcohols are compounds, not solutions.

Alcohol itself isn't, but say, a mixed drink. That would be a solution, right?

What we call "Alcohol" is not pure, 100%, ethanol. If it was, it would kill you. So, it is a mixture, or "solution" of mostly water, ethanol, sugar, and other organic compounds that give color and taste. Even a "pure" bottle of rum is a solution. The only thing close to alcohol that is not a solution is 200 proof alcohol, or laboratory grade stuff.
