A naming contest, of sorts!
As I mentioned in the content I'm struggling to find a name for the cute couple here, as despite all the time I've spent on the project, I just can't think of anything appropriate, that isn't a cliché.
I've been on Funnyjunk for awhile now, and I know that there's quite a few creative and interesting people here, so I'd love to see what you guys come up! ...more »

For the dude, I'd say something like Isaac, Jamie, or Josh.
For the Lady, Definitely Daisy.
For the Lady, Definitely Daisy.
Axel / Piston / Rust (male) : chaotic, scrap sounding name someone gave him out of spite.
Symphony 9 (female) : structured, ordered sounding name, but assigned.

For the male:
Roy Dicksmasher Clyde, Isaac, Vincent
Female:
Sophie, Faye, Christine.

Wheeliam & Clocky
Rob & Daisy
Motorobert "aka Moto as a short name" & PAM (as in PM and AM, you know, in a clock?)
Sorry. I'm not that creative. Good luck anyways!
Like another member said, voices will help determine the names.

Scrap and Clockwork?
Honestly, if the name is not important to the story then it is simply window-dressing. Something to identify the character with. Because of that, the names Scrap and Clockwork likely work far better than any other names would because they simply do what a name is meant to do. Give you a way to identify them.
If it were me, I'd just take that simple, obvious, road. In the movie 9 the characters didn't have names they had numbers. Even though the names were a part of the story it shows that having more unusual names can work.

I don't know what voices your going for in this, if any at all, but the character models are saying British to me. I don't know why but eh...
So
Wyatt
and
Vivian
Finding names always sucks balls when writing. A friend of mine always writes in a fantasy setting so he gets away with a dartboard with random sounds written on it. Good luck
