Pop of Austrailia: 22,620,600 divided by 1,768 = 1 in every 12,794 people
Canada: 34,842,779 1 in every 11,254
Italy: 60,626,442 divided by 5,500 = 1 in every 11,022
Great Britain: 62,641,000 1 in every 17,405
France: 65,436,552 divided by 5000 1 in every 13,097
Germany: 81,726,000 1 in every 10,488
Russia: 141,930,000 divided by 28,000 = 1 in every 5,068
U.S. : 311,591,917 1 in every 7,513
India: 1,241,491,960 divided by 160,000 = 1 in every 7,759
China: 1,344,130,000 divided by 250,000 = 1 in every 5,376
While good ol' 'Murica may be pretty far down the list in order of deaths per person, these numbers are very clearly presented in as biased a way as is possible. Furthermore, a clear trend is set, being that as pop goes up, % of deaths by cars goes up as well.
Score a win for the Brits though.

the really funny fact is that the numbers are similar for gun violence and lack of health insurance. americans lose their shit over 3000 people killed on 9/11 when there are tens of thousands of people dying from easily curable diseases each year...
