I work in retail. I see this everyday.

It makes me want to punch them in the tits.

I hold no grudges against people on food stamps, I don't even care if they buy the occasional case of soda or chips and whatever. However, when you don't have enough money on your card and you choose to buy junk goddamn bread and milk you majorly rustle my jimmies.

I have no problem with the ones that need it, and try to get 'semi' healthy stuff with it. But when you're buying 15 dollars of chocolate, a bag a sour patch kids, 3 bottles of Pepsi, and 3 bags of chips (crisps for our British brethren) then you need to be tit punched.

Then of course you have those that abuse the system too. You won't believe how many people I see with new iPhones with EBT cards. But to keep my job, I can't say shit about it. The aggravation some days is astounding.

Keep on fighting the good fight my friend, one day you will no longer work retail and you will be able to say whatever you want to the socialist scum of society.
