Despite the fact that this was from a Valve comic, I will say, they HAVE actually started giving out 555 numbers. For instance, one unlucky bastard has one of the 555 numbers shown in Back to the Future. I can't imagine how many calls they get, daily...

no, they have the number that was originally in the cinematic cut but has since been removed for all home media versions - there's a few films where that's the case
