As an American, We put the date like this because there's 12 months in a year, 365 days in a year, and billions of years... so

12<365<454000000000
you euro-scrubs don't have everything perfect

Made this in MS Paint to help explain that the method us Americans use makes just as much sense as Day/month/year since what we do is (12 choices) / (31 choices) / (Infinite choices)

I think its just bad because the rest of the world (please correct me if i am wrong) that uses the other system. I know it makes as much sense as day/month/year because we take the shortest period on top, then the middle and then the longest. But i think it would be way easier from a global perspective if every country would use the same system.

I don't understand why you're getting thumbed down. It's because you expressed your opinion. It would make total sense for everyone to just use the same damn system though. I mean, I'm from USA but even I hate using the imperial counting system instead of metric because I do science things and going between metric and imperial sucks. And metric makes more sense cause it's based off tens, not random ******* numbers.

TL;DR

He's right. It would be easier. He doesn't deserve red thumbs. I'm from USA, and agree.

You answered your own question with your second sentence: he gave his opinion. Even worse, he gave his opinion on Funnyjunk.
