I picked up some North Face gloves two years ago, they cost me no more than 20 euro.

Still lasting well, no rips or anything.

Of course they're pricier than cheap woolen stuff, but you really get a long use of them.

The reason they are so cheap is because it was 2 years ago, I think. I don't really follow prices, but I am pretty sure the prices rocketed last year. Don't quote me on this though, because I am probably wrong. I usually am.

I really don't see prices for it rising dramatically.
Same manufacturing I'd assume.
It's possible, but there is no way they'd make a huge price hike for gloves.

I think it was because a lot of people started buying them, since they were of good quality. By macroeconomic laws, if the demand for a product rises, then more people will be willing to buy it at every prices. More people willing to buy the product leads to a change in equilibrium price...and not for the better of the consumers.

Just checked the Irish site. Prices have actually gone up, apologies for thinking otherwise.
Not too drastically though. Gloves from 25 Euro upwards.

Well, either way, they're affordable if you want long lasting winter wear.

I'd probably have shelled out enough to buy more than 2 pairs of gloves if I just bought the basic ones that are sold everywhere. They tear so easy and hardly retain heat at all, not to mention get soaked through.

Their gloves in the US range from $30 to $170... jdfiudjgi. Their jacket prices are high (to me anyways) also... It took begging my father for months to buy it for my birthday.

They're costly for a reason. Well worth the money though.

Their Ski and Mountain line of clothing is pretty decent, and a little less costly than North Face.

Always check what fabric it's made from over all, that way you'll know if you're getting your money's worth.

Yeah, but if you do 5 min of research you can find a equally high quality product or a better one for a third of the price, as I said. Buying their stuff is like throwing away money.

Well how would I know its of better quality? There isn't really any standard for these things.

You can get info on fabrics with a google search. There's a bunch of forums who discuss these kind of things too.

American Military. He's got the IR Flag patch, and that gun is an M4.
I believe that camo pattern is MultiCam, but I'm not entirely sure.
If I could get a better look at his patches, I could tell you definitively.
