Faith restoring
Most definitely OC, happy to share with you guys
About 4 days ago, my mother went over to talk to
our new neighbours across the hall from us, and
after a long chat had found out that their family
of t had been struggling for food and money.
Their fridge was hare, and they had very few
clothes. That night my mother went to the store
and bought them food for the next few days. Once
she had gotten home, she got on the phone with
her sister (my aunt) and they decided that they
were going to help them out. The next day they
went out shopping for our neighbours. When
they came hack they had a coat, two sweaters, two
jackets, two toques( welcome to Canada), two sets
of boots, two shirts, two pairs of snowpants, and a
book. We haven' t given them to the family yet,
but we are tomorrow. I just wanted to say don' t
give up guys, there' s still hope in this world.
Very proudly, kwizzy

As morally appeasing this may be, it shouldn't be on funnyjunk.
By the way, a good deed lacks any moral value it provided by the search for attention and recognition for doing it.
So please continue being the good people you are, just don't make a post of it searching for thumbs. Also, taking pictures of some clothes is not any actual evidence proving you are not trying to thumbwhore. I could take a picture of a supermarket fridge and come up with a bogus story about how I will buy everything in it and give it to the homeless on Christmas. It has no moral value.
Keep this shit of Funnyjunk and continue being the good people you aspire to be.

Nice try, Canadian.

Today, my family and I were kicked out of my house. Our renter switched on us and after a month with the new owner and paying $1300 he started the eviction process saying that we haven't payed anything for the past two months. He sent a letter telling us to show up at court which somehow never came, so eviction started. Two days before we payed $700 some guy we never heard of showed up and said we had two days to get out of his house. This morning my family gathered in the car with our clothes, a handful of our possessions, and $12. We planned on staying the night in our car at a local park. A police officer showed up because my father wouldn't leave and kept pleading for them to just let us have one more night and saw how much we were in trouble. He took us to the gas station, filled up our tank, and then took us to a hotel. He payed for a two bedroom suite, and that is where we will be staying for the next week. I'm only able to type all this because on the way up to our room, the receptionist gave us free wifi for the week. Never have me or my family been treated as nicely as when we reached our lowest point in life.

I dont know....they should have spoken with them first. Some people are too proud to take charity and they may get insulted.
And to all people moaning about how he shoudnt talk about it and post on internet....What does he get from it? It not like he know any of us or that he gave full name. He is proud of what his mother did and he has right to be proud

I work at a local McDonalds (hey it is putting me through college), Every day more and more people are "paying it forward" (paying for their order, and the next order). I've seen people get out of the car and go hug the person that paid for their meal. I always throw in some free cookies or fries to the person that did.
