the theory goes that Lyanna and Rhaegar had sex, and Ned found Lyanna in a tower. The tower was guarded by 3 kingsguard, who Ned and his friends killed. Inside, Ned found Lyanna, made a promise to her, and she died in the tower. When Ned returned to Winterfell, he had Jon with him. Also, Azor Azai has to have Targaryan blood in him, and therefore this theory and the Jon is Azor Azai fits together.

It's possible, but John's got the Baratheon black hair. And Daenerys is more likely to be Azor Ahai anyway.
