"1 human year is 7 dog years"
1 year = the time it takes for the earth to orbit the sun
so what OP is saying is (along with every other RETARD that says a dog's year is 7 times a human year), that dogs experience 7 revolutions around the sun at the same time anything else on the planet experiences 1 revolution around the sun?
yea you guys are pretty darn smart

its meant to say a dog ages in a way that would be similar to us if we multiplied each of our years by 7. so a 10 year old dog would be similar to a 70 year old human in his dog - lifespan. Of course that may have changed a little as domestication research has improved animal health and the same thing for humans.
actually, mass slows time
The temple of Giza, the most massive man made structure on the planet, slows time. if you were standing next to the temple of giza you would experience time at a slower rate than people passing by on the free way. another way to say that is if you orbit a supermassive blackhole for 1 year, 2 years would have passed away from the hole
If you tell me I'm wrong then you should go tell Stephen Hawking he's an idiot

what's pathetic is how hard you're trying to make me look pathetic lol
so just wondering, how do you "slow" inertia, inertia being the resistance an object has to a change in motion. I wasn't aware an objects resistance to change in motion could be 'slowed' brainiac lol

Let me fix your sentence.
"Again, i say, a single year is a unit of time, one year is, and always will be the time required for the earth to revolve around the sun, perhaps you could find a book on such matters and read it?"
Now let me rephrase it
"I am a complete faggot, and i enjoy sucking large cocks all day long."

Actually it is. The implication of decreased perception of "duration" that a dog experiences "relative" to the perceived "duration" of a human, demonstrates that an actual instance of "Time Dilation" occurs between the man and the dog. A dog's lifespan, is approximately one seventh the duration of a Human's average life expectancy, therefore the dog can be said to be 'moving'* forward in time at seven times the speed of a human being moving forward in the same hypothetical medium. Thus, the DOG will experience "years" at seven times the rate of a Human.
The implication of sequential birthday discrepancy, is a HOOT! Unless you're a chimp
* (Movement is, of course implied since transiting through a meta-element like 'time' is a hypothetical construct that can not be meaningfully described non-mathematically,)
