Chris Brown was admitted to a nearby local hospital earlier today, the report says that he has suffered multiple first degree BURRRRN wounds. he's expected to make a full recovery, but will likely suffer for the rest of his life as we will never forget that he's a woman beating arrogant and talentless asshole.

And the funniest thing is - the women he beat up is the one who is gonna have his baby in a couple of months... That man totally beat her up and now they're gonna get marriage and have a child.

They said this on the radio yesterday ( if I'm not wrong ) and it seems the dad actually support Chris Brown.

I don't know the right word for "idol" I wanna use, but she looks like a good "idol" for the kids around 10 - 12 which is listening to her.

I've never actually watched the Olympic boxing events, but boxing was something I practised for a while, and when you put a good boxer against an untrained person you can almost guarantee that the boxer will win.
But female boxing is certainly faster (like featherweight male boxing) which does make it more interesting for most people. ot to mention it's girls knocking chunks out of each other, which can be a novelty for some people.

I normally don't watch it either but in the last olympics i ended up watching the gold medal women's match, and unlike in the men's matches I've watched where they're missing opening after opening in their opponent's defense, the woman that won did not miss a single opportunity. The second her opponent made an opening wide enough for a fist to go through, you could damn well bet that a punch went soaring through.

Why does everyone only focus on Chris Brown beating Rihanna? What about when Floyd Maywether beats women? He's actually been arrested a few times and convicted and has served some jail time for it. But you guy's don't really care about men beating women, you only care about being able to make a tired out joke. Also if you motherfuckers are so concerned about equal rights for women and no special treatment then you shouldn't give a damn about whether or not Chris Brown beat a women, just that he beat someone. Fucking hypocrites.

No, this gets extra attention because the woman he beat was as famous as him. Those other cases of domestic abuse don't get as much attention because the victims weren't famous.

The fans/audience doesn't have a personality or a face to empathize with, an entity of which they previously recognized and admired. Comprehend the pain of a faceless person is much more challenging than with someone who've you "met". I'm not excusing these contrasting attitudes, to the contrary it completely sickens me, I'm only explaining the phenomenon you described.

I'll write this one comment becauseI can't be assed to argue with you, if you don't understand.

This is the internet. It's populated mainly by normal people, and, heres the things, normal people are damned stupid. That's why bandwagons like the chris brown hatings occur. Sure, it might be justifiable but people only really hate him because it's expected to hate him.

With more specific regards to your comment, whoever you talked about isn't as known as Chris Brown, he doesn't have as many immediately available stupid statements as Chris Brown and you generally don't seem to have a clue as to why it is Chris Brown and not that Floyd guy.

If people know a person, it's much more likely for him to be a placeholder of something, in this peticular case, he's a guy beating girls. That he appears to be your stereotypical pop music nigger is just an added incentive towards this.

TL;DR: It is Chris Brown and not Floyd because people know him and his actions, while Floyd has gone under the radar. This is a pretty common thing and has numerous theories attached to it.

I think it's a lot harder in practice than you'd think to get skateboarding in the Olympics... It doesn't have much of an Olympic feel to it, I mean, everyone will be wearing whatever the fuck they want, and the crowds in skateboarding are typically set up very differently to any other sporting event. Also - judging is made pretty difficult with a sport such as skateboarding, gymnastics is one thing, but skateboarding can be extremely subjective.
