I hate when people decide to exclude themselves from the electorate all of a sudden just because their candidate didn't win. Granted, I also hate the people who are all "OMG FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORED" when their candidate wins, but I think that the "You elected him" routine is one of the most petulant, childish things an adult can say. It's like the fat kid on a little-league soccer team blaming his team-mates for a loss by saying "You guys didn't run fast enough."

inb4 "I didn't vote for him, you massive gaylord, so he isn't my president."

By casting a vote for any person in an election, winner or loser, you are recognizing the legitimacy of the contest and thereby affirming that you will accept the outcome no matter who wins. You are also recognizing that, according to the American electoral system, whoever wins a plurality of the votes in the electoral college is the winner of the contest and that the word of said plurality is representative of the nation as a whole.

tl;dr Legally and philosophically, you elected him, too, regardless of the person for whom you voted.

now lets give this photo some context

On January 30th, 2009, a 4 panel comic depicting President Obama hitting a kid with a snowball was posted onto the site Superpoop.com, a website by Toothpase For Dinner artist Drew.

A photo series of Obama from 2007 was posted to Digg on Feb 5th, 2009 with the title Obama is Kind of a Dick along with the insert of a poor orange cat who appears to be the victim of the fun. In actuality Obama was throwing a snowball at at a campaign staff worker, never pictured in the original published set.

Uh, I really doubt the little girl is who Obama threw the snowball at, mainly because the picture qualities are completely different. Way to find random junk on the internet and pose it as fact. Do some research.

Yeah, no way someone is making a joke. You're right, it's definitely right-wing propaganda to demonize Obama. I'd even go so far as to suggest that the snow really symbolizes semen and implies that Obama enjoys ejaculating onto crying children.
