i know its not N/A i'm not a tard... i thought it was an amusing pic that the gear head portion of FJ would enjoy
my dad had a Nova, i forget the year but he loved it. i'm running an 88 chrysler fifth avenue with a 360 stroker that lays waste to all the little imports that run around where i'm at. Feels good to own a real car :D

Yeah, I had the choice to get some import, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Then the opportunity to purchase the Nova came about. $4000 and it was in near mint condition, with only 33k miles on it. This was back in... 2008 IIRC

It has a new 383 in it with maybe 3k miles on it and a new tranny with maybe 500 miles on it.

thats pretty fucking awesome man. i got my fifth ave for $1700 last year it had a 318 but i blew that up in a month and my uncle sold me the 360 block that i built over the summer. she goes in to get dyno tested this spring :D expecting to see 600 + HP.

Sounds like you've got a lot done to it to hit 600. Turbo'd?

I bought the motor that's in mine now, the 383 as a 350. I built it to a 383 (400 crank and all) Mild cam, etc. I bought the 350 with a supercharger, but the thing was blown and way out-dated, so I couldn't get it fixed anywhere for a decent price. So I have a 383 setup to accept a supercharger, but no supercharger for now. Eventually I'll have a nice brushed aluminum scoop sticking out of the hood with no cowl. (The cowl is done way to much on Novas.)

I need to get the rear-end finished before I get it dyno'd. Got to get new gears and some posi to make it worth it.

its all motor man ;D completely built from the ground up. my motor lies though.. ive got timing gears instead of a chain cause they have that whine almost like a sueprcharger

You'll have to share the dyno map and some pictures when you get the chance.

I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

A super charger produces boost, as far as I know.

Like you said, it's forced induction. That's not an N/A engine.
